Nancy and Stuart

About Nancy and Stuart:

Nancy and Stuart's wedding was held at a private residence overlooking the St. Croix River. A friend catered the event showing off her excellent gourmet skills. This non-traditional ceremony had an abundance of pleasing details including each guest dressed in white! The path to the arbor was lined with white candles and rose petals and the ceremony overlooked the St. Croix River.

Nancy became worried when the skies looked cloudy and rain appeared in the forecast. This is the biggest fear with outdoor weddings, but Lacey and I knew that we would still have plenty of photographic opportunities. As the skies became darker, the couple stayed calm and decided to delay the ceremony a while. The rain came and went and the ceremony commenced. The sky glowed with intense blue shifting toward a deep orange as the sun started to set during the ceremony. It couldn't have been more dramatic with flashes of lightning the other side of the river!
